The ICORD (International Conference for Rare Diseases and Orphan Drugs) Society was established in Brussels on September 13, 2007. Its mission is to improve the welfare of patients with rare diseases and their families world-wide through better knowledge, research, care, information, education and awareness. ICORD by-laws and constitution are available here.
As of April 2021, the new By-Laws of ICORD were approved by the General Assembly. Please see them here. However, the By-Laws are still pending of approval by the Spanish authorities.
The ICORD General Assembly is usually held during the Annual Meeting and the next will be held in 2022. The General Assembly elects the Executive Board.
